Guide
How the kit works
Start with Clip It when available. It inflicts Glacio Chafe and restores 100 Trace. Memory Palace turns every 50 Trace restored into one Photo, up to three Photos.
Hold Phantom Frame to open its Focus Ring and release inside Perfect Focus for Spotlight. It restores 50 Trace and 20 Concerto Energy. An early or missed release gives Compensate instead, with 25 Trace and an eight-second Skill cooldown reduction. You can follow either attack with Basic Attack Stage 2.
For Snapshot, hold through Stage 3 and release inside Perfect Focus for 50 Trace. Releasing outside gives 25. You can also wait until the ring fills completely for the successful version.
With three Photos, cast Clear As Day. Hold Normal Attack through Tracing Forms Stage 3 to consume Photos with Oblivion, then finish with Letting It Go. The finisher restores 20 Concerto Energy. In Glacio Chafe mode, Oblivion inflicts Glacio Chafe; in Echo mode, it counts as Echo Skill DMG.
Build and why
Use five pieces of Wishes of Quiet Snowfall. Its listed two-piece effect gives 10% Glacio DMG, which fits Lucilla’s attacks. Moonlit Clouds is the other suggested five-piece option, though its listed two-piece Energy Regen is less useful to Lucilla herself: she holds no Resonance Energy.
Freeze Frame is the first weapon choice. After its wielder inflicts Glacio Chafe, it grants 30% Glacio DMG Bonus for 12 seconds and 24% ATK to the team for 30 seconds. Lucilla can trigger that condition with her Intro Skill.
Whispers of Sirens is the next option. One stack of its effect gives 40% Basic Attack DMG Bonus after the required Echo Skill use. Stringmaster follows, with Attribute DMG Bonus and ATK from dealing Resonance Skill DMG. For stats, consider ATK, Crit. Rate and Crit. DMG; Glacio DMG also fits her damage.
Leveling priority
A suggested order is Memory Palace, Clear As Day, Phantom Frame, Snapshot, then Clip It. Memory Palace contains Oblivion, while Clear As Day contains the extended attack sequence and its finisher. Phantom Frame and Snapshot are used to build Photos before that sequence.
Ascension materials are Shell Credit, LF Mech Core, MF Mech Core, HF Mech Core, FF Mech Core, Suncoveter's Reach and Forget-Me-Not. Skills use Shell Credit and the four Mech Core materials too, along with We Who Question, Spliced String, Broken String, Solidified String and Melodic String.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
As a suggestion, look at Slumbering Moonlight (Sequence 2) first for team damage. It adds 80% Glacio Chafe DMG Amplification or 40% Echo Skill DMG Bonus, depending on the mode. The effect lasts through Reminiscence and for 30 seconds after it ends, unless you change modes.
Distant Noon (Sequence 1) is a useful earlier upgrade. It makes the Skill’s Perfect Focus easier to hit, grants 20% Crit. Rate for 10 seconds after Spotlight and adds interruption immunity during parts of her rotation.
For Lucilla’s own finisher damage, consider Gazing In the Mist of Time (Sequence 6): consuming three Photos in Reminiscence can raise Letting It Go’s damage by up to 600%. Sequences 3 through 5 can be skipped if you are mainly interested in her support effects.
Teams
For an Echo team, give the next field character room to use Echo Skills. Montage grants that incoming character 50% Echo Skill DMG Amplification for 14 seconds, ending early if they leave the field or Lucilla changes mode. Zoom also raises the active character’s Echo Skill Crit. DMG.
Sigrika and Suisui are other named teammate options; Shorekeeper and Verina are also listed. Check what the rest of your team needs before choosing a mode rather than assuming every partner benefits equally from both.
Common mistakes
Do not tap the Skill when you want Spotlight: without holding it, Lucilla uses Compensate instead. Likewise, rushing Basic Attack Stage 3 gives less Trace than a successful Focus Ring release. Watch the ring or let the Basic Attack version fill.
Do not switch Lucilla out during Spotlight, since that ends the attack early. During Letting It Go, switching is disabled, so leave time for the finisher. Hold or repeatedly press Normal Attack during Tracing Forms Stage 3 if you want to keep attacking and consume the Photos.
Do not change Resonance Mode after setting up bonuses unless you intend to lose them. In Echo mode, avoid switching the recipient out early if you still want to use the Outro amplification.
