Guide
How the kit works
Start in Optical Sampling Stage and build up to 120 Overflow with attacks or her Resonance Skill. Her Intro Skill supplies 100 Overflow in this state. Once the gauge is full, hold Normal Attack to charge Basic Attack - Spark Collision (basic), then release it or wait for Lumiflow to fill. Casting it enters Kaleidoscopic Parade.
In Kaleidoscopic Parade, movement and certain attacks restore Lumiflow. With at least one third of the gauge, jump to use Basic Attack - Polychrome Leap (basic). It applies Photochromic Flux and gives one True Color in combat. Chain up to three leaps; the second pulls nearby targets in.
At three True Color, press Normal Attack or Resonance Skill in mid-air for Basic Attack - Visual Impact (basic). It applies Photochromic Flux and grants nearby teammates 40 Tune Break Boost for 30 seconds. If it is on cooldown, the input casts Basic Attack - Iridescent Splash (basic) instead. Visual Impact also leaves Spray Paint that applies Photochromic Flux for five seconds.
Cast Prismatic Overblast for Spectro damage and a 24% damage increase for nearby teammates for 30 seconds. A timely Normal Attack follows it up. Finish with Let's Hit the Road!: the incoming Resonator gets 15% All DMG Amplification and 25% Resonance Liberation DMG Amplification for 14 seconds, or until switched out.
Build and why
The game's build recommends five pieces of Pact of Neonlight Leap. The listed two-piece effect gives 10% Spectro DMG, which suits Lynae's attacks. The data does not specify the five-piece effect, so check it in game.
Spectrum Blaster is the first weapon choice. It increases ATK and gives Basic Attack DMG Bonus after an Intro Skill or Basic Attack damage. Its team damage effect also stacks when the wielder applies either Shifting effect during Basic Attacks, up to three stacks.
Phasic Homogenizer comes next: it increases ATK and gives the wielder All-Attribute DMG Bonus after a teammate casts a Tune Break skill. Static Mist is another option, with Energy Regen and an ATK buff for the incoming Resonator after Lynae's Outro.
ATK and Spectro DMG Bonus are useful stats to consider for her damage. Tune Break Boost also matters against a target with Tune Strain - Interfered, because Lynae converts it into increased damage against that target.
Leveling priority
As a suggested order, level Chromaticity Modeling and Chroma Drift first: they contain the leaps, finishers and attacks used during her skating rotation. Then consider Prismatic Overblast, followed by Lynae-Style Palettes and the Intro Skill. The team buffs described in the kit are useful even when Lynae is built for support.
For maximum ascension, gather 170,000 Shell Credit, 4 LF Exoswarm Core, 12 MF Exoswarm Core, 12 HF Exoswarm Core, 4 FF Exoswarm Core, 46 Suncoveter's Reach and 60 Rimewisp.
For all skills at maximum, gather 2,030,000 Shell Credit, 25 LF Exoswarm Core, 28 MF Exoswarm Core, 40 HF Exoswarm Core, 57 FF Exoswarm Core, 26 Dreamless Feather, 25 Incomplete Combustor, 28 Aftertune Combustor, 55 Remnant Combustor and 67 Reverb Combustor.
Resonance Chain nodes worth it
For a support-focused upgrade, Into Lights' Vanishing Point (sequence 2) is worth considering. Lynae gains 25% All DMG Amplification, and her Outro grants the incoming Resonator another 25% All DMG Amplification for 14 seconds or until they switch out.
Painted in My True Color (sequence 6) is a later option that changes her rotation: Lynae stays in Kaleidoscopic Parade after her Outro, her Lumiflow limit rises to 360, and certain Heavy Attacks build stacks that increase the damage taken from her aerial finishers.
Days to be Painted Like a Canvas (sequence 1) is another useful option. It increases the multiplier of Basic Attack - Polychrome Leap (basic), doubles Spray Paint's duration and grants interruption immunity during the leap and Basic Attack - Visual Impact (basic). You can stop at sequence 2 rather than pursue the ATK increase at sequence 4 or Liberation multiplier increase at sequence 5.
Teams
Choose a damage dealer who can use the Outro's short window, especially one whose Resonance Liberation damage matters. Keep that character on the field while the buff lasts, since switching them out ends it early. A defensive or healing teammate can fill the remaining slot.
For Tune Rupture, look for a teammate who can deal Tune Break DMG and inflict Tune Rupture - Interfered. Lynae then responds with Spectro damage, at most once every eight seconds per target. For Tune Strain, stacks of Tune Strain - Interfered increase Lynae's damage against the target based on her Tune Break Boost.
The guides list Mornye and Iuno as teammates, as well as Aemeath and Shorekeeper. Their individual abilities are not described in the supplied data, so check which role and Tune effects they bring before choosing a lineup. Lynae's stated buffs do not require the incoming character to have a particular element.
Common mistakes
Do not stand still for too long in Kaleidoscopic Parade: Lumiflow drains while Lynae is idle on the ground, and it also drains off the field. Moving on the ground restores it, while each leap spends one third of its maximum.
Do not switch modes expecting existing Spray Paint to change its effect. The paint keeps the Photochromic Flux effect it had when placed. Also, an Outro normally ends Kaleidoscopic Parade and clears Lumiflow and True Color; sequence 6 changes the Outro behavior.
Do not switch out the recipient immediately after Lynae's Outro. The incoming Resonator loses both Outro damage amplifications when switched out, even if the 14 seconds have not elapsed.
