Guide
How the kit works
Use Gale Blade to deal Anemo DMG and launch opponents in the direction you aim. Hold it to pull nearby opponents and objects towards Jean, then choose the direction before releasing it. Holding consumes stamina, and Jean cannot move while using it.
Use Dandelion Breeze when the party needs healing or you want its field on the ground. It launches nearby opponents, deals Anemo DMG and immediately heals every party member based on Jean's ATK. The field keeps healing characters inside it and continuously imbues them with Anemo. Opponents take Anemo DMG when entering or leaving it.
After using the Burst, a passive restores 20% of its Energy. Favonius Bladework (NA) gives Jean up to five Normal Attack strikes; its Charged Attack consumes stamina to launch an opponent. Normal Attack hits also have a 50% chance to heal the whole party for 15% of Jean's ATK.
Build and why
Use four pieces of Viridescent Venerer for the main support build. Its two-piece bonus gives 15% Anemo DMG Bonus, while four pieces increase Swirl DMG by 60%. A Swirl also reduces the opponent's RES to the infused element by 40% for 10 seconds. Trigger the reaction on the element your team wants to deal damage with.
Four pieces of Noblesse Oblige are an alternative: using the Burst gives the party 20% ATK for 12 seconds, though the effect cannot stack. Ocean-Hued Clam is another option that turns healing into damage through its Sea-Dyed Foam. For a mixed set, two pieces of Gladiator's Finale and two of The Exile give ATK and Energy Recharge.
Primordial Jade Cutter is the first weapon choice: it increases HP and gives an ATK Bonus based on the wielder's Max HP. Freedom-Sworn follows; triggering reactions builds sigils, and two grant nearby party members Song of Resistance for 12 seconds. Mistsplitter Reforged gives Elemental DMG Bonus and can gain a stack from casting the Burst.
For four-star options, Amenoma Kageuchi returns Energy after the Burst based on seeds gained from the Skill. Favonius Sword generates particles on CRIT Hits. On artifacts, use Energy Recharge or ATK Percentage on the sands; ATK Percentage or Anemo DMG Bonus on the goblet; and Healing Bonus, ATK Percentage or CRIT Rate on the circlet. Prioritize Energy Recharge, then ATK Percentage, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and ATK in substats.
Leveling priority
A useful leveling order is Dandelion Breeze, then Gale Blade, then Favonius Bladework (NA). The Burst is Jean's main party-wide heal, while the Skill is her repeatable Anemo attack. Leave Normal Attacks until last if she spends most of her time supporting the team.
For ascension, collect Mora, Dandelion Seed, Hurricane Seed and the Vayuda Turquoise materials from Sliver through Gemstone. You also need Damaged Mask, Stained Mask and Ominous Mask. Talents use the same masks, Mora, Teachings of Resistance, Guide to Resistance, Philosophies of Resistance, Dvalin's Plume and Crown of Insight.
Constellations worth it
Lands of Dandelion is Jean's biggest constellation to look out for in an Anemo damage team. Opponents inside the field from Dandelion Breeze lose 40% Anemo RES. Keep the enemies inside the field when you want to use that reduction.
People's Aegis is another standout. When Jean picks up an Elemental Orb or Particle, the entire party gains 15% Movement SPD and ATK SPD for 15 seconds. Pick up the particle with Jean herself to activate it.
Spiraling Tempest is worth considering if you use Gale Blade often: it increases the Skill's DMG by 40% and improves its pull speed after holding it for more than one second. When the West Wind Arises adds three Burst levels, while Outbursting Gust adds three Skill levels. Lion's Fang, Fair Protector of Mondstadt reduces incoming damage inside the field. You can leave these later upgrades aside if you only need Jean's base healing and control.
Common mistakes
Do not stack ATK while ignoring Energy Recharge. ATK improves the initial Burst heal, but Jean still needs Energy to use that heal again. Choose your sands and weapon with both needs in mind.
Do not hold Gale Blade without watching your stamina or surroundings: Jean cannot move during the hold. Aim before releasing it so you do not launch opponents away from where you want to fight.
Do not assume the field heals everyone wherever they stand. Dandelion Breeze heals the whole party on cast, but its continuing heal applies to characters inside the area. With Viridescent Venerer, remember to trigger Swirl on the element whose RES you want to reduce.
