Guide
How the kit works
Start with Passion Overload for a quick Pyro strike. You can hold it instead: the first charge level hits twice and launches opponents, while the second hits three times and ends in an explosion that launches both Bennett and the enemy. Bennett takes no damage from that launch.
Use Fantastic Voyage to deal Pyro DMG and create an Inspiration Field. A character in the field at or below 70% HP receives continuous healing; above 70% HP, they receive an ATK Bonus based on Bennett's Base ATK. The field also imbues characters inside it with Pyro.
Switch to the teammate you want to heal or strengthen and keep them in the field. When Bennett returns, his Skill has a shorter cooldown there, and its fully charged version no longer launches him. A passive also reduces the Skill's cooldown outside the field.
Strike of Fortune (NA) gives Bennett up to five normal sword strikes. Its charged attack spends Stamina for two quick hits. For a support build, these attacks are less important than keeping his Burst ready.
Build and why
Use four pieces of Noblesse Oblige for the main support build. Its Burst gives the whole party 20% ATK for 12 seconds, on top of Bennett's field bonus. The set effect does not stack, so check what your other party members are wearing.
Four pieces of Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City are another option: after Bennett triggers a reaction involving Pyro, nearby party members gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for the elements involved for 15 seconds. Instructor instead gives the party 120 Elemental Mastery for eight seconds when its wearer triggers a reaction.
For a simpler alternative, four pieces of The Exile give Energy Recharge and restore Energy to the other party members after a Burst. Two pieces of Emblem of Severed Fate plus two pieces of Tenacity of the Millelith give Energy Recharge and HP instead.
Choose Energy Recharge or HP Percentage on the sands, HP Percentage on the goblet, and Healing Bonus or HP Percentage on the circlet. In substats, look for Energy Recharge first, then HP Percentage; CRIT Rate and HP are useful after those. Energy Recharge helps you use the Burst, and HP improves its healing.
Mistsplitter Reforged is the leading weapon choice in the guides. Azurelight and Absolution are also ranked highly; their effects improve Bennett's own damage or ATK. Compare weapons' Base ATK in the game menu for his field bonus: an effect that raises ATK is not the same thing as Base ATK.
Favonius Sword is a useful support alternative. Its CRIT Hits have a 60% chance to create particles, so CRIT Rate helps activate it. Amenoma Kageuchi is another option: Skill uses create seeds that restore Energy after a Burst.
Leveling priority
For a support Bennett, level Fantastic Voyage first: both his healing and ATK support come from it. Passion Overload is a good second choice for its Pyro damage. Leave Strike of Fortune (NA) until last if you rarely use his sword attacks.
Ascension requires Mora, Windwheel Aster, Everflame Seed, the Agnidus Agate materials and Treasure Hoarder Insignia materials. The talent books are Teachings of Resistance, Guide to Resistance and Philosophies of Resistance.
Talent levels also need Mora, Treasure Hoarder Insignia materials and Dvalin's Plume. Crown of Insight is needed for the final level of each talent. You can save those crowns if you do not plan to maximize every talent.
Constellations worth it
Grand Expectation is the first major upgrade for support. It removes the HP restriction from the field's ATK increase and adds another 20% of Bennett's Base ATK to it. A character at or below 70% HP can therefore receive the ATK increase while being healed.
Fire Ventures With Me is another major upgrade. Sword, Claymore and Polearm users inside the field gain 15% Pyro DMG Bonus and Pyro infusion. It suits teammates who want those effects, but consider your team's attacks before activating it: the infusion changes how those weapons attack inside the field.
True Explorer is worth considering because it adds three levels to Fantastic Voyage. Impasse Conqueror gives Bennett 30% Energy Recharge when his HP falls below 70%, while Unstoppable Fervor raises his Skill level. Unexpected Odyssey adds a follow-up to the first charge level of Passion Overload. Those earlier upgrades are less compelling if you mainly want the field's support.
Teams
Pair Bennett with a damage dealer who benefits from ATK and can stay near the field. Xiangling is a Pyro teammate named in several guides; her Polearm also receives the infusion and Pyro DMG Bonus from Bennett's sixth constellation.
Xingqiu is a Hydro option if you want to combine Hydro and Pyro. Wriothesley brings Cryo for a team that wants to work with Pyro as well. Place the field where the character you switch to can use it rather than casting it far from the fight.
Kaedehara Kazuha is an Anemo option with Swirl. Furina is another Hydro teammate to consider. Bennett supplies healing to a character inside his field, so do not expect the same field to heal teammates who remain off the field.
Common mistakes
Do not leave the field when you need its healing or ATK Bonus. Without the first constellation, also watch the 70% HP threshold: the ATK increase has an HP restriction even though the field can heal below it.
Do not build only HP and forget Energy Recharge. More healing is useful, but it does not help if Fantastic Voyage is unavailable when the team needs it. Likewise, extra ATK from a weapon effect is not the Base ATK used for the field's bonus.
Avoid holding Passion Overload to its second charge level outside the field when being launched would interrupt your plan. If you use Favonius Sword, do not neglect CRIT Rate, since its particle effect requires a CRIT Hit.
