Guide
How the kit works
Start with Starfell Sword to deal AoE Geo DMG and create a meteorite. Hold the skill to adjust where it lands. Its passive reduces its cooldown by 2 seconds, so you can use it regularly.
Use Wake of Earth when you want another hit of AoE Geo DMG. It knocks surrounding opponents back and raises a stone wall at the edge of the shockwave. Both the wall and the meteorite count as Geo Constructs.
Creating Geo Constructs, protecting nearby party members with shields or replacing their shields gives the Traveler stacks, up to three. Only one stack can be gained per second this way. At three stacks, a Charged Attack consumes them and becomes Charged Attack: Rockfell.
Each hit of the special Charged Attack gains Geo DMG equal to 120% of the Traveler's ATK. After it hits an opponent, nearby party members gain 20% Shield Strength for 15 seconds. It can trigger once every 15 seconds.
Foreign Rockblade (NA) has up to five Normal Attack hits. Its Charged Attack consumes Stamina for two sword strikes, and the final Normal Attack in the combo triggers a collapse that deals AoE Geo DMG equal to 60% of ATK.
Build and why
For a team damage build, try four pieces of Archaic Petra. When the wearer obtains a Crystallize shard or triggers Lunar-Crystallize, the party gains a 35% DMG Bonus for that element for 10 seconds. Only one elemental bonus from the set can be active at a time.
Four pieces of Noblesse Oblige are another team option: the Burst gives the party 20% ATK for 12 seconds. For more Burst damage, consider Emblem of Severed Fate: its two-piece bonus gives 20% Energy Recharge, and its four-piece bonus converts part of Energy Recharge into Burst DMG.
For the Traveler's own Geo damage, the suggested build includes four pieces of Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods. After an Elemental Skill, it gives 20% Geo DMG Bonus for 10 seconds, with a larger bonus while its shield or Moondrift condition is met. Two pieces each of Archaic Petra and Gladiator's Finale give Geo DMG Bonus and ATK without that condition.
Use ATK Percentage or Energy Recharge on the sands, Geo DMG Bonus on the goblet, and CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the circlet. Look for CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG in substats, followed by ATK Percentage and Energy Recharge. More Energy Recharge helps keep Wake of Earth available.
Primordial Jade Cutter is the first weapon choice: it raises HP and gives ATK based on Max HP. Mistsplitter Reforged gives Elemental DMG Bonus and can gain emblem stacks from using the Burst and having less than full Energy. Wolf-Fang is a four-star option that increases Elemental Skill and Burst damage, with separate CRIT Rate stacks for each.
Leveling priority
A suggested talent order is Starfell Sword, then Wake of Earth, then Foreign Rockblade (NA). The skill is a regular source of Geo damage, while the Burst is another AoE hit. Raise Normal Attacks sooner if you spend more time attacking with the Traveler.
For ascension, collect Mora, Windwheel Aster, Brilliant Diamond Sliver, Brilliant Diamond Fragment, Brilliant Diamond Chunk and Brilliant Diamond Gemstone. You also need Damaged Mask, Stained Mask and Ominous Mask.
Talent upgrades use Mora and materials from the Freedom, Resistance, Ballad, Prosperity, Diligence and Gold series: Teachings of Freedom, Guide to Freedom, Philosophies of Freedom, Guide to Resistance, Philosophies of Resistance, Guide to Ballad, Philosophies of Ballad, Teachings of Prosperity, Guide to Prosperity, Philosophies of Prosperity, Guide to Diligence, Philosophies of Diligence, Guide to Gold and Philosophies of Gold.
The other talent materials are Divining Scroll, Sealed Scroll, Forbidden Curse Scroll, Firm Arrowhead, Sharp Arrowhead, Weathered Arrowhead, Dvalin's Sigh, Tail of Boreas and Crown of Insight.
Constellations worth it
Invincible Stonewall is the standout upgrade. Party members within the radius of Wake of Earth gain 10% CRIT Rate and increased resistance to interruption. Keep the active character within that radius to use the bonus.
After C1, Rockcore Meltdown is worth considering for damage. When the meteorite from Starfell Sword is destroyed, it explodes for additional AoE Geo DMG equal to the damage dealt by the skill.
Reaction Force is useful if you want more Energy back from the Burst. It restores 5 Energy per opponent hit by the shockwave, up to 25 at once, so its return depends on how many opponents you hit.
C3 and C5 add levels to the Burst and skill respectively, so they can wait if you prefer the other effects. Everlasting Boulder extends the wall by 5 seconds and the meteorite by 10 seconds; you can skip it if you do not need the constructs to last longer.
Common mistakes
Do not place the meteorite without checking the fight. Hold Starfell Sword to aim it where its position helps rather than gets in your way. The Burst wall is also a Geo Construct, so pay attention to where it appears.
Do not use a Charged Attack expecting Rockfell before you have three stacks. Construct creation and shield events can give only one stack per second, and the special attack has its own 15-second trigger limit.
Do not ignore Energy Recharge if Wake of Earth is often unavailable when you want it. On the other hand, the four-piece Archaic Petra bonus needs the wearer to obtain a Crystallize shard or trigger Lunar-Crystallize; simply equipping the set does not activate it.
