Guide
How the kit works
Start with Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma. It deals AoE Geo damage when placed. Hold the skill to choose its location, then attack opponents inside its field. When they take damage, a Transient Blossom deals AoE Geo damage, at most once every 2 seconds. Albedo can have only one Solar Isotoma at a time, and it counts as a Geo construct.
Switch to another character and keep fighting inside the field. Calcite Might increases Transient Blossom damage by 25% against opponents below 50% HP. Standing at the center of Solar Isotoma also creates a platform that lifts a character.
Use Rite of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide while Albedo's Solar Isotoma is present. It deals AoE Geo damage and generates seven Fatal Blossoms in the field. Neither the Burst damage nor those Blossoms generate Transient Blossoms. Homuncular Nature gives nearby party members 125 Elemental Mastery for 10 seconds after the Burst.
Favonius Bladework - Weiss (NA) has up to five Normal Attack strikes. Its Charged Attack consumes Stamina for two strikes, and its Plunging Attack damages opponents along the way and on impact. Use these when needed, but his Skill is the focus of this build.
Build and why
Four pieces of Husk of Opulent Dreams are the first set choice. The two-piece bonus gives 30% DEF. Its Curiosity stacks give DEF and Geo DMG Bonus, up to four stacks; Albedo gains a stack every 3 seconds while off-field. Four pieces of Golden Troupe are another option, increasing Elemental Skill damage and adding a further bonus while he is off-field.
For a mixed set, try two pieces of Husk of Opulent Dreams with two pieces of Archaic Petra. You get DEF from the first set and 15% Geo DMG Bonus from the second, both useful for Transient Blossoms.
Use DEF Percentage on the sands. Choose Geo DMG Bonus or DEF Percentage on the goblet, and CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG or DEF Percentage on the circlet. For substats, look for DEF Percentage first, followed by CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, DEF and Energy Recharge.
Uraku Misugiri is the first weapon choice: it gives DEF and Elemental Skill damage, with a stronger Skill bonus after a nearby active character deals Geo damage. Peak Patrol Song is next; Normal or Plunging Attack hits build its DEF and elemental damage bonuses and can give the party All Elemental DMG Bonus. Cinnabar Spindle follows, adding Skill damage based on DEF.
Leveling priority
A good leveling order is Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma first, then Rite of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide, followed by Favonius Bladework - Weiss (NA). The Skill creates the recurring Blossoms this build is designed around. The Burst is worth raising for its own damage; basic attacks can wait if Albedo spends little time attacking.
For maximum character ascension, gather 420,000 Mora, 168 Cecilia and 46 Basalt Pillar. You also need 1 Prithiva Topaz Sliver, 9 Prithiva Topaz Fragment, 9 Prithiva Topaz Chunk and 6 Prithiva Topaz Gemstone, plus 18 Divining Scroll, 30 Sealed Scroll and 36 Forbidden Curse Scroll.
To max all three talents, gather 4,957,500 Mora, 9 Teachings of Ballad, 63 Guide to Ballad and 114 Philosophies of Ballad. The remaining materials are 18 Divining Scroll, 66 Sealed Scroll, 93 Forbidden Curse Scroll, 18 Tusk of Monoceros Caeli and 3 Crown of Insight. Flash of Genius gives a 10% chance to double the product when Albedo crafts Weapon Ascension Materials.
Constellations worth it
Opening of Phanerozoic is the standout upgrade. Transient Blossoms build up to four Fatal Reckoning stacks for 30 seconds. The Burst consumes them, adding damage equal to 30% of Albedo's DEF per stack to its initial hit and Fatal Blossoms.
Grace of Helios is worth considering for a Skill-focused build because it adds three Skill levels. Flower of Eden, which comes before C2, gives Albedo 1.2 Energy per Transient Blossom. If you do not need that Energy, you can stop before C1.
Descent of Divinity is situational: it gives active characters inside the field 30% more Plunging Attack damage. Tide of Hadean raises Burst level by three. Dust of Purification gives the active character in the field 17% more damage when protected by a Crystallize shield or when Moondrifts are present in the field. You can leave these later upgrades aside if your focus is Albedo's Skill damage.
Teams
In that setup, creating Solar Isotoma increases nearby party members' attack, Skill and Burst damage by 4% per 1,000 DEF for 20 seconds, up to 12%. Creating Silver Isotoma gives nearby Hexerei members a separate increase of 10% per 1,000 DEF for 20 seconds, up to 30%. Albedo's Burst also offers Elemental Mastery to nearby teammates, including those using reactions.
Common mistakes
Do not place Solar Isotoma and then fight outside its field. Opponents need to take damage inside it to generate Transient Blossoms. Remember the 2-second limit too: faster hits do not create a Blossom every time.
Do not use the Burst expecting its damage to trigger Transient Blossoms. Put Solar Isotoma down before the Burst instead, so it can generate Fatal Blossoms. Placing another Solar Isotoma replaces the one Albedo already has.
Do not neglect DEF Percentage while chasing critical stats. DEF directly increases Transient Blossom damage, and it also improves the damage bonuses from Albedo's Hexerei passive when its conditions are met.
