Guide
How the kit works
Tap Low-Temperature Cooking to deal AoE Cryo damage and activate the Cooking Mek in Cold Storage Mode. The Mek follows the active character and periodically fires Frosty Parfaits at nearby opponents for Cryo damage. At intervals, activating it also summons an Ousia-aligned Cryo strike.
Use Scoring Cuts when the party needs healing. It deals AoE Cryo damage and restores HP to nearby party members based on Escoffier's ATK. Afterward, Rehab Diet heals nearby active characters every second for 9 seconds, with each heal based on 138.24% of her ATK.
Hits from either ability reduce the target's Hydro RES and Cryo RES for 12 seconds. With one, two, three or four Cryo or Hydro characters in the party, the reduction is respectively 5%, 10%, 15% or 55%. Switch to your damage dealer after setting up the Mek and healing.
Holding the Skill instead activates Off-the-Cuff Cookery Mode. This places the Mek on the field to absorb elemental attacks and make food from ingredients. It has a weekly dish limit that resets on Monday at 4:00 AM, so use the tap version for combat.
Build and why
Four pieces of Golden Troupe are a strong damage choice. The set increases Skill damage, with a further 25% bonus while Escoffier is off-field. Four pieces of Tenacity of the Millelith are an option for team support: Skill hits increase nearby party members' ATK by 20% for 3 seconds, even when the wearer is off-field.
Four pieces of Noblesse Oblige are another support option. Using the Burst grants the party 20% ATK for 12 seconds, though this effect cannot stack. Pick it if you prefer that Burst-based bonus to the Mek's damage.
For the sands, use ATK Percentage or Energy Recharge. Choose Cryo DMG Bonus or ATK Percentage on the goblet, then CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG or Healing Bonus on the circlet. Among substats, prioritize Energy Recharge, ATK Percentage, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and ATK in that order. ATK helps her healing, while Energy Recharge helps you use the Burst.
Symphonist of Scents is the top weapon choice here. It gives Escoffier ATK, including an off-field bonus, and healing grants ATK to her and the characters healed. Fractured Halo is an option for its ATK after a Skill or Burst; its separate Lunar-Charged bonus requires the wearer to create a shield. Staff of Homa gives an ATK bonus based on Max HP.
For a four-star option, consider Favonius Lance: CRIT hits have a 60% chance to generate particles, once every 12 seconds. Frostbreath instead grants ATK after a Cryo or Hydro-related reaction and restores Energy to other party members.
Leveling priority
For a support build, I'd level Scoring Cuts first for its healing, then Low-Temperature Cooking for the Mek's damage. Leave Kitchen Skills (NA) for last if you rarely use Escoffier's attacks on the field.
For ascension, gather Beryl Conch, Secret Source Airflow Accumulator and the Shivada Jade materials, from Shivada Jade Sliver through Shivada Jade Gemstone. You'll also need Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, Artificed Dynamic Gear and Mora.
Talent upgrades use the Justice books: Teachings of Justice, Guide to Justice and Philosophies of Justice. They also need the same gear materials, Eroded Horn and Mora. Crown of Insight is needed for the highest talent levels.
Constellations worth it
Pre-Dinner Dance for Your Taste Buds is the standout upgrade. After Escoffier uses her Skill or Burst, it gives nearby party members 60% Cryo DMG CRIT DMG for 15 seconds, provided all four party members are Cryo or Hydro. It requires the RES-reduction ascension talent.
Tea Parties Bursting With Color is another damage upgrade: attacks by the active character can trigger an extra AoE Cryo hit worth 500% of Escoffier's ATK. It can trigger once every 0.5 seconds, up to six times per Cold Storage Mode.
You can leave C3 through C5 alone for the basic support role. C3 and C5 raise Skill and Burst levels, while C4 extends Rehab Diet and adds a chance for extra healing and Energy. None is needed for her base RES reduction or healing.
Common mistakes
Don't hold the Skill expecting the combat Mek. Tap it for Cold Storage Mode; the held version is for cooking.
Don't count only the other three characters when checking the Cryo or Hydro condition. Escoffier counts too, and the jump from three qualifying characters to four is much larger than the earlier steps.
Don't build only for damage if you struggle to use the Burst when healing is needed. Give Energy Recharge room in the build, then balance ATK and damage stats around what the team needs. Likewise, don't assume the Burst's party-wide heal replaces the later active-character healing: both are part of her kit.
