Guide
How the kit works
Start with Meteoric Sunder when possible. It summons Garmentmaker, restores 30 Energy on entering battle and deals Lightning DMG to all enemies. One random enemy receives Seam Stitch. At the start of battle, The Speeding Sol also brings Aglaea’s Energy up to 50% if it is below that amount.
Use Rise, Exalted Renown to summon Garmentmaker if it is absent. The summon immediately takes action. If it is already present, the Skill restores 50% of its Max HP. Rosy-Fingered (Talent) makes Aglaea’s attacks apply Seam Stitch while Garmentmaker is on the field; only the most recently marked target keeps the effect.
Use Dance, Destined Weaveress to summon Garmentmaker or restore it to full HP, then enter Supreme Stance. Aglaea acts immediately and gains 15% SPD per Garmentmaker stack. Her Thorned Nectar becomes Slash by a Thousandfold Kiss, a Joint ATK that also hits adjacent enemies but does not recover Skill Points. She cannot use her Skill in this state.
The stance has a countdown in the Action Order. When its turn arrives, Garmentmaker self-destructs and Supreme Stance ends. Using the Ultimate again resets the countdown. Last Thread of Fate lets Garmentmaker retain up to one SPD stack for its next summon, and Bloom of Drying Grass restores 20 Energy to Aglaea when it disappears.
Build and why
Use four pieces of Hero of Triumphant Song. The set gives ATK, grants SPD while Garmentmaker is present and raises both characters’ CRIT DMG after the memosprite attacks. Pair it with The Wondrous BananAmusement Park for CRIT DMG that increases further while a summoned target is on the field.
The Edacious Heretic is another relic option: it raises Basic ATK DMG and gives ATK after a Basic ATK. Musketeer of Wild Wheat offers ATK, SPD and Basic ATK DMG. For a different planar set, Rutilant Arena gives CRIT Rate and boosts Basic ATK and Skill DMG once the wearer reaches 70% CRIT Rate.
Choose CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the body, SPD on the feet, Lightning DMG Boost on the sphere, and Energy Regeneration Rate or ATK Percentage on the rope. For substats, look for CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK Percentage and SPD, in that order. SPD also feeds The Myopic’s Doom, which converts Aglaea’s and Garmentmaker’s SPD into ATK during Supreme Stance.
Time Woven Into Gold is the first Light Cone choice. It gives base SPD, builds CRIT DMG stacks for Aglaea and Garmentmaker, and adds Basic ATK DMG at maximum stacks. Sweat Now, Cry Less is next: it gives CRIT Rate and boosts both units’ damage while Garmentmaker is present. Geniuses’ Greetings offers ATK and boosts their Basic ATK DMG after the Ultimate.
Leveling priority
Follow the game’s order: Thorned Nectar, A Body Brewed by Tears, Dance, Destined Weaveress, Rosy-Fingered, Rise, Exalted Renown, then Thorned Snare. The Basic ATK comes first because Aglaea’s enhanced attack is central to her damage. The memosprite Talent follows because its SPD stacks feed Supreme Stance.
For full ascension, gather 308,000 Credit, 65 Nail of the Beast Coffin, and 15 each of Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chest and Glory-Aspersed Torso.
For all skill upgrades, gather 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 Bīja of Consciousness, 69 Seedling of Manas, 139 Flower of Ālaya, 12 Auspice Sliver, 41 Fear-Stomped Flesh, 56 Courage-Torn Chest and 58 Glory-Aspersed Torso.
Eidolons worth it
E1, Drift at the Whim of Venus, is the standout upgrade. The enemy with Seam Stitch takes 15% more damage, and Aglaea or Garmentmaker restores 20 Energy after attacking that target. Keep their attacks focused on the mark to use both effects.
Sail on the Raft of Eyelids is another option to consider. Actions by Aglaea or Garmentmaker build up to three stacks of 14% DEF ignore for their damage. The stacks last until another unit actively uses an ability, so their duration depends on the action order.
E6 is worth considering if you go that far: it gives Aglaea and Garmentmaker 20% Lightning RES PEN in Supreme Stance and increases Joint ATK damage at the listed SPD thresholds. E3 and E5 raise skill levels rather than adding a separate effect, so stopping before them is an option. You still need them to reach later Eidolons.
Teams
Build around Aglaea and Garmentmaker as your Lightning damage source. A buffer and a sustain character are useful places to start; the kit does not require a teammate of a particular element.
Common mistakes
Do not spread your attacks without a reason. Seam Stitch stays only on the most recently marked enemy, and Garmentmaker prioritizes that target. Moving the mark changes where its automatic attacks are directed.
Watch the Supreme Stance countdown and Garmentmaker’s HP. You cannot use Aglaea’s Skill during the stance, but her Ultimate restores an existing Garmentmaker to full HP and resets the countdown. Its disappearance ends the stance.
Do not count on the enhanced Basic ATK to recover Skill Points. When choosing gear, avoid chasing SPD at the expense of the recommended CRIT stats: Aglaea also needs damage from her attacks.
