Guide
How the kit works
Before a fight, use We Are the Melody when available. It advances Robin • Summeretto's action by 20% at the start of the next battle, gives her 6 Vibes and increases all allies' damage by 30% for two turns. Use Summer Strums the Soul to summon Bessie. If any Summer Songbirds member is already present, the Skill restores their HP by 100% of Summer Songbirds' Max HP and gives Robin • Summeretto 6 Vibes instead.
Wings Heed No Borders gives her 1 Vibes when an ally attacks or first provides healing or a Shield during any target's turn. With Bessie present, Drummie arrives at 6 Vibes and Paddie at 12. Once all three are present, Fever begins: it clears Crowd Control debuffs from Robin • Summeretto and Summer Songbirds, then creates a Zone where allies ignore enemy DEF equal to 15% plus 0.5% per Vibes.
Use Ascend That Rhapsody in Blue on an ally other than Robin • Summeretto. It advances their action by 100%, restores Energy equal to 20% of their Max Energy and gives them Special Guest for two turns. Their attacks and their summon’s attacks each give Robin • Summeretto 2 extra Vibes. The Special Guest cannot make other friendly targets gain the action advance effect.
In Fever, Summer Songbirds use their Memosprite Skill when their turn starts. A countdown with 140 SPD removes 50% of current Vibes, with a minimum of 12, when its turn starts. At zero Vibes, Summer Songbirds disappear and Fever ends. Robin • Summeretto cannot take a turn during Fever, but she and the birds are immune to Crowd Control debuffs.
Build and why
The first relic choice is four-piece World-Remaking Deliverer. Its two-piece bonus gives 8% CRIT Rate; after a Basic ATK or Skill with the memosprite on the field, the four-piece effect gives the wearer and memosprite 24% Max HP and all allies 15% damage until after the next Basic ATK or Skill. Max HP helps both Summer Songbirds' initial HP and their damage.
Pair it with two-piece Amphoreus, The Eternal Land for 8% CRIT Rate and, while the memosprite is present, 8% SPD for all allies. Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal is an alternative relic set that can give the ally targeted by the Ultimate CRIT DMG. Sprightly Vonwacq and Lushaka, the Sunken Seas are planar alternatives with Energy Regeneration Rate; Lushaka also needs Robin • Summeretto outside the first team slot to buff the first character's ATK.
For main stats, choose HP Percentage or CRIT DMG on the body, SPD or HP Percentage on the feet, HP Percentage or Wind DMG Boost on the sphere, and Energy Regeneration Rate or HP Percentage on the rope. For substats, follow CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, HP Percentage, then SPD. Rebuilt Harmony already gives Robin • Summeretto and Summer Songbirds 50% CRIT Rate, so account for that when building.
Rise and Sing is the first Light Cone choice: it gives 30% Max HP, recovers a Skill Point after the Ultimate and helps the team with SPD at the start of combat. Memory's Curtain Never Falls gives SPD and an ally damage buff after the Skill. Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky gives more SPD and lets the memosprite deal Additional DMG based on HP consumed from allies.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's order: Ascend That Rhapsody in Blue, Chirrup Quartet, A Warble of Wings, Summer Strums the Soul, Wings Heed No Borders, then The Sea Sings in My Key. The Ultimate supports your chosen ally, while Chirrup Quartet deals Wind damage to all enemies and A Warble of Wings controls the Fever damage and countdown effects.
The Skill summons or restores Summer Songbirds, and the Talent governs Vibes and the DEF ignore Zone. Level the Basic last: it deals Wind damage to one enemy.
For full ascension, gather 308,000 Credit, 65 Charred Bud of Twilight, and 15 each of Dream Collection Component, Dream Flow Valve and Dream Making Engine. For all skills, gather 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 Bīja of Consciousness, 69 Seedling of Manas, 139 Flower of Ālaya, 12 High Hopes of the Falsely Enlightened, 41 Dream Collection Component, 56 Dream Flow Valve and 58 Dream Making Engine.
Eidolons worth it
Stray Bird of Summer is the first upgrade to look at. Summer Songbirds tally allies' non-True DMG and, when using their Memosprite Skill, deal extra True DMG to the enemy with the highest HP. The hit uses 11% plus 0.1% per current Vibes of the tally, then clears half of it.
A Heart of Still Water gives allies 18% All-Type RES PEN, raises the Vibes cap by 20 and grants 2 extra Vibes the first time an ally uses an ability to cause Robin • Summeretto to gain Vibes during any target's turn.
A Song Yet Unnamed doubles the original Memosprite Skill damage multiplier. It also lets Robin • Summeretto store her Ultimate up to twice during Fever and restores 140 Energy on the first Fever entry in battle or when the Fever countdown's turn starts. Her Variation on the Theme gives Vibes and Summer Songbirds SPD on Fever entry, but stopping at E2 is an option; E3 and E5 mainly raise skill levels.
Teams
Pick a damage dealer who benefits from more turns, then add a teammate with sustain. Summons and follow-up attacks are useful ways to generate Vibes when they attack. Healing or shielding Robin • Summeretto or Summer Songbirds also supplies Groove: its stacks let her recover 3 Energy when she first gains Vibes during a target's turn.
Common mistakes
Do not wait for Robin • Summeretto's next turn to act during Fever: she cannot take one until it ends. Keep generating Vibes through the team to offset the countdown, and remember that Summer Songbirds disappear at zero Vibes.
Do not spend the Ultimate on an ally without considering who should receive the action advance and Special Guest. Robin • Summeretto cannot target herself. Also check your CRIT Rate after accounting for Rebuilt Harmony, and do not overlook HP Percentage: Summer Songbirds start with Max HP equal to 70% of hers.
