How the kit works
Before a fight, Stormborn puts Feixiao in Onrush for 20 seconds, pulling nearby enemies in and increasing her movement speed by 50%. Attacking starts battle with the pulled enemies. She gains 1 Flying Aureus on entering battle and deals guaranteed CRIT Wind DMG to all enemies at the start of each wave. Heavenpath gives her another 3 Flying Aureus when battle starts.
On her turn, use Waraxe against the target you want to damage. It deals Wind DMG and immediately launches an extra instance of the Follow-Up ATK from Thunderhunt. Boltcatch also gives Feixiao 48% ATK for 3 turns when she uses her Skill. Boltsunder (Basic) is a single-target attack for turns when you need to conserve Skill Points.
Thunderhunt launches a Follow-Up ATK after a teammate attacks, normally against their primary target. This trigger works once per turn and resets at the start of Feixiao's turn. The attack also increases her DMG dealt by 60% for 2 turns. Every 2 attacks by the team give her 1 Flying Aureus, though her own Ultimate attacks do not count. She can hold up to 12 points and use her Ultimate once she has at least 6.
Terrasplit attacks six times before its final hit. Boltsunder Blitz has a higher damage multiplier against a Weakness Broken target, while Waraxe Skyward has a higher multiplier against a target that is not Weakness Broken. Match the attack to the target's state. Against a target that is not Weakness Broken, the Ultimate has 100% increased Weakness Break Efficiency.
Build and why
Use four pieces of The Wind-Soaring Valorous and two of Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves. The relic set gives ATK and CRIT Rate, then increases Ultimate DMG by 36% for 1 turn after a Follow-Up ATK. Duran gains Merit when allies use Follow-Up ATKs. Its stacks increase the wearer's Follow-Up ATK damage, and five stacks also give 25% CRIT DMG.
The Ashblazing Grand Duke is another relic option: its two-piece bonus increases Follow-Up ATK damage, while four pieces build ATK stacks as a Follow-Up ATK deals damage. Those stacks are removed the next time the wearer uses a Follow-Up ATK. For planar ornaments, Inert Salsotto gives CRIT Rate and increases Ultimate and Follow-Up ATK damage once current CRIT Rate reaches 50%. Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm is worth considering with another The Hunt teammate.
For main stats, choose CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG on the body, SPD on the feet, Wind DMG Boost or ATK Percentage on the sphere, and ATK Percentage on the rope. For substats, prioritize CRIT Rate, then CRIT DMG, ATK Percentage and SPD. Feixiao's attacks scale with ATK, while her damage benefits from critical stats.
I Venture Forth to Hunt is the first weapon choice. It gives CRIT Rate, and its Follow-Up ATK stacks let Ultimate damage ignore target DEF. Baptism of Pure Thought gives CRIT DMG and, after an Ultimate, grants damage and DEF ignore for Follow-Up ATKs. Worrisome, Blissful gives CRIT Rate and Follow-Up ATK damage; its Tame stacks also increase the CRIT DMG allies deal when hitting the affected target.
Leveling priority
Follow the game's leveling order: Terrasplit (Ult) first, then Waraxe, Thunderhunt and Boltsunder. The Ultimate is a major source of damage, while the Skill and Talent both contribute to her Follow-Up ATKs. Leave the Basic until last.
For maximum ascension, you need 308,000 Credit, 65 A Glass of the Besotted Era and 15 each of Artifex's Module, Artifex's Cogwheel and Artifex's Gyreheart.
For all skills, you need 3,000,000 Credit, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 18 Meteoric Bullet, 69 Destined Expiration, 139 Countertemporal Shot and 12 Regret of Infinite Ochema. You also need 41 Artifex's Module, 56 Artifex's Cogwheel and 58 Artifex's Gyreheart.
Eidolons worth it
Moonward I Wish is a good upgrade to consider for a Follow-Up ATK team. Ally Follow-Up ATKs give Feixiao Flying Aureus through its effect, up to six triggers per turn. That helps her reach her Ultimate more often.
Homeward I Near is a much later option. It gives Ultimate damage 20% All-Type RES PEN, makes the Talent's Follow-Up ATK damage count as Ultimate damage as well, and increases that attack's damage multiplier by 140%. Skyward I Quell is an earlier stopping point to consider: its damage increase builds during the Ultimate, up to five stacks.
Stormward I Hear is optional if you stop earlier. It increases the Talent Follow-Up ATK's Toughness Reduction and gives SPD when that attack launches. E3 and E5 mainly raise skill levels; you can leave later Eidolons aside if you are satisfied with E1 or E2.
Teams
Look for teammates who attack often, especially with Follow-Up ATKs. Their attacks help build Flying Aureus and can trigger Feixiao's own follow-up. Feixiao gives the team focused Wind damage and can reduce a target's Toughness with her Ultimate even without a matching Weakness Type.
Common mistakes
Do not save the Ultimate indefinitely at 12 Flying Aureus: that is the maximum, so further points cannot be stored. Check the target's Weakness Broken state when choosing between Boltsunder Blitz and Waraxe Skyward, since their damage bonuses apply in different states.
Do not assume every teammate attack triggers Thunderhunt. Its teammate-attack trigger works once per turn and resets at the start of Feixiao's turn. Also remember that her Ultimate attacks do not count toward the two attacks needed for Flying Aureus.
Do not build only ATK and ignore CRIT Rate. Her Ultimate counts as Follow-Up ATK damage, making critical stats and Follow-Up ATK bonuses useful across her main damage sources. If using Inert Salsotto, check that her current CRIT Rate reaches 50% for its damage bonus.
