How to play
  • Type a character name and pick it from the list. Arrow keys and Enter work too.
  • Every guess shows that character's traits (combat type, path, rarity, faction and version). ✓ means the trait matches the answer, ✗ means it does not.
  • On rarity and version an arrow points the way: ↑ the answer is rarer or from a newer version, ↓ the other way.
  • Guesses are unlimited and your score is how many you needed. Once solved, you can copy it as symbols, without the answer.
  • A new puzzle starts at midnight UTC. Everyone gets the same one that day.

FAQ

What do the arrows mean?

On rarity (rank in ZZZ) and version, an up arrow means the answer has the higher value and a down arrow the lower one. The other traits either match or they do not.

Is there a guess limit?

Not in the daily puzzle. You keep guessing until you get it, and your score is the number of guesses. Fewer is better.

When is the next puzzle?

Every day at midnight UTC. Everyone gets the same one that day.

Which characters can be the answer?

Playable Honkai: Star Rail characters already in the game, without the extra forms of the main character, whose element changes. A new character can become an answer a few weeks after release, because the puzzles are set in advance.
